The Sherrod File Renamer is a powerful utility for renaming files, folders and mp3 ID3 tags all over user system.
The application offers the capability of showing the changes before they are really applied to the different elements.
Another feature is the possibility of batch renaming of many files and/or folders at the same time, which process is shown on a progress bar. Also, the application lets the user to 'filter' for narrowing the names search to a determined file type or file name. After the search is complete, all the elements matching the 'filtering' rules are shown to work on them. Files and folders can also be deleted or moved to another location directly from this application from its main file list.
In the renaming process, user can also select how many characters should be removed or replaced, beginning on a defined character position in the file/folder name. User can add characters, numbers or complete words to existing file or folder name.
The application can perform a batch renaming action by mass name replacing an specific word by the selected, all over folders and subfolders, at the beginnig of the name as well as at the end of it.
The program also includes a buil-in mp3 ID3 tag editor, where user can change parameters and/or names. |
